Research landscape and emerging trends of diabetes-associated cognitive dysfunction: a bibliometric analysis

Background Diabetes-associated cognitive dysfunction (DACD) is a common and serious complication in diabetes has high impact on the lives of both individuals society. Although number research focused DACD past two decades, there no study to systematically display knowledge structure development field. Thus, present aimed show landscape identify emerging trends for assisting researchers or clinicians grasping domain faster easier focusing Methods We searched Web Science database all DACD-related studies between 2000 2022. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, Histcite, R bibliometric package, revealing most prominent research, countries, institutions, authors, journals, co-cited references, keywords. Results A total 4,378 records were selected analysis. found that volume literature increased over years. In terms publications, USA ranked first.
